The More than Equal Driver Development Programme is a high-performance preparation programme that supports young, talented female drivers who have the ambition to develop into elite racing drivers. An in-house team of experienced driving coaches in collaboration with leading evidence-based coaching group, Hintsa Performance, will provide a bespoke programme of technical and tactical coaching alongside physical preparation and personal development.

The programme is designed to support and enhance the development of young, female drivers in three key areas: as a driver, as an athlete, and as a person. The programme joins these three areas together, exposing drivers to the highest quality coaching and support out of the car to enhance their performance in the car.

More than Equal selects talented young female drivers who are performing well consistently and on a development trajectory that puts them on course to be an F1 driver of the future. Applications are open on an annual basis. In addition to public applications, More than Equal has built an in-house global database of female drivers, which is used alongside the application process to build a profile of the driver then assess them against selection criteria. This criteria includes current performance, driving history, age and development stage.

The goal is to develop young female drivers for several years, however the drivers selected join the programme for an initial first year, subject to a development review.

Applications are welcome from all drivers all over the world regardless of team or series affiliations. The programme will focus on driver development and can operate alongside academies and racing series.
