More Than Equal Wins Autosport Pioneering and Innovation Award

More Than Equal is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Pioneering and Innovation Award at the 38th Autosport Awards, held at London’s Roundhouse.

This prestigious accolade recognises groundbreaking contributions to the motorsport world and celebrates transformative progress within the sport.
The Pioneering and Innovation Award highlights individuals and organisations driving the sport forward with unique ideas, visionary thinking, and measurable impact. At the ceremony, More Than Equal was selected from a diverse shortlist of nominees that included cutting-edge initiatives from across the racing world.
Tom Stanton, CEO of More Than Equal, accepted the Award on behalf of the organisation, reflecting on the journey to date and the work that lies ahead. “Thank you so much,” Stanton said. “We started with a mission four years ago to find and develop the first female Formula 1 World Champion. We did not know at the time that more people had been in space than had been F1 World Champions. We are striving to go further, to push forward again, and to create a future in motorsport that looks different and more inclusive.”
Founded by David Coulthard and Karel Komarek, More Than Equal is a global non-profit high-performance programme dedicated to identifying, supporting, and advancing female talent in motorsport. At the heart of its driver development work is research and innovation that builds the evidence base needed to support women’s progression through the motorsport pathway.
Receiving the Pioneering and Innovation Award from Autosport, the world’s leading motorsport publication, reinforces the value of More Than Equal's science-led, data-driven approach. This recognition reflects not only the impact of its driver development and research programmes but also the collaborative efforts of partners, athletes, and supporters who share its vision of a more equitable motorsport ecosystem.
