More than Equal drivers Gianna Pascoal and Julia Angelard set for GB4 and Ginetta Junior winter campaigns

Majority funding from More than Equal combines direct investment in racing with specialist coaching and preparation ahead of 2027

>= More than Equal development drivers Gianna Pascoal (South Africa) and Julia Angelard (Poland) will compete at Snetterton, United Kingdom on 24-25 October, contesting the GB4 Winter Series with Pace Performance and the Ginetta Junior Winter Series with Elite Motorsport respectively.
More than Equal, the global high-performance motorsport programme dedicated to identifying and developing elite female racing talent, is funding the majority of both campaigns.
The investment marks an expansion of More than Equal’s support, adding direct funding for race competition to the technical and tactical coaching, physical preparation and personal development delivered through its Driver Development Programme. The backing also covers testing programmes for both drivers ahead of the event.
The two campaigns have been selected around each driver’s development needs, providing competitive mileage and opportunities to build racecraft ahead of the 2027 season.
Fourteen-year-old Angelard will make her car racing debut with Elite Motorsport, marking her transition from karting into Ginetta Junior competition. She will be supported by More than Equal Driver Coaches Sarah Moore and Adam Smalley, both former Ginetta Junior champions, bringing first-hand experience of success in the category to her development.
For Pascoal, the GB4 Winter Series offers four races across the weekend to build experience in single-seater competition with Pace Performance. She will put her preparation into practice, developing her pace and consistency alongside the racecraft and decision-making that testing alone cannot replicate.
Both campaigns form part of More than Equal’s long-term approach to driver development, combining preparation, competition and performance analysis to help each driver progress.
Tom Stanton, Chief Executive Officer of More than Equal, added: “Drivers need both the preparation to perform and the opportunity to race. Funding these campaigns is a direct investment in Gianna and Julia’s development, giving them competitive experience alongside the specialist support they receive throughout the year.
“Each campaign has been chosen around what the driver needs to learn. We want them to build racecraft, grow in confidence and use that experience to take the next step in 2027.”
Founded by businessman and philanthropist Karel Komárek and former Formula 1 driver David Coulthard, More than Equal is a global high-performance motorsport programme with a mission to find and develop the first female Formula 1 World Champion. Its evidence-led Driver Development Programme provides individualised support to help talented female drivers progress through the sport.
